"What is home once home is gone"
Bushitoad is A 2D/3D HyBrid SENIOR STUDENT film about an alcoholic samurai toad adopting a refugee tadpole.
Initially, Bushitoad started as a ten-person team. The first ten had access to shotgrid and I scheduled the hybrid team appropriately. We used Shotgrid in the first half of our production. In the latter half, we expanded to have 40-plus crew members, most of which could not access Shotgrid
I made an executive decision to shift the team to using Google Sheets as our primary form of scheduling, because it is the most accessible for all the new crewmembers. We also utilized Google sheets to manage our shot list, updating it to feature specifics for each shot in all departments.
As the film grew it became necessary to have weekly task lists for each department that I wrote and sent to team leads to approve.
A brief excerpt from the scope list made for compositors on the film. It was used as quick and informative documentation on their assigned shots

Additionally, I managed scope-lists that were comprehensive lists of what each shot needed. For example, The comp scopelist had each asset that was still needed for the shot at the time of writing and also included any specifications the crew had for the shot in the Post-Production Process.

During the production of Bushitoad, the film had a very complex pipeline and workflow. Coordinating with the Production team we made a flowchart to help keep our workflows efficient. A difficulty we had with the film was determining deliverables that were urgent to the completion of the project. Credit of the visualizer goes to Lola Barreras
